PAVE East Texas, previously Literacy Council of Tyler, believes that education is powerful and can unlock potential. And, we also believe that every adult should have the opportunity for education at any stage of life. Our adult education programs offer the opportunity for transformational results in the lives of adult learners, families, and the greater community.

When the door to literacy is opened for an adult, it can never be closed again. As a result of our programs:

- GEDs are completed
- College becomes accessible
- English is learned or improved
- Jobs are secured
- The workforce gains a better employee
